We need each other

Your secretary is not a specialist in computer maintenance. Neither are most of your employees. And probably, you aren't either. That's not an insult. It's not a bad thing. It's just not your area of expertise. I'm sure you can out CEO every IT specialist in the Silicone Valley. There are different areas of strengths and weaknesses for each of us. None of us can do it all, and no man is an island. We need each other. And sometimes that means we need to outsource.

Some times we need to have someone else take care of our computers for us. Some times we don't even need to be anywhere near (physically) our computers - for our own good. If this is the case for you, you should check out Managed Servers Raleigh. Their specialized team can set you up with a solution individualized to meet your needs. In their lightning-protected secure building in Raleigh, North Carolina, they can help you whether your needs include colocation, (where they simply house and power a server provided by you), managed servers (where they sell you space on one of their servers, and keep it maintained for you), dedicated servers, (where they set up a server specifically for your business alone and maintain it for you), or managed colocation, (where you provide the server, but they manage it and maintain it for you).

They are serious about security - both from man and the elements. Their location provides 24-hour security survalence. There is a double-man trap in place to check for proper identification. The cage surrounding the servers requires laser-etched keys with magnetic signatures, so they are safe against picking. They have cameras at every doorway, so there is no way someone is going to walk in and steal your secure data. Does your office server have this kind of security? Don't you wish it did? Now it can, it just won't be in your office anymore.
