Eee PC Clone with a Touchscreen and 30 GB Hard Drive? Be still my geeking heart!

The Asus EEE has competition. FIC/Everex has confirmed plans to ship a UMPC (ultra-mobile PC) with a 7-inch screen in January. The "Cloudbook" will ship with the Google Apps-oriented "gOS" Linux distribution, in standard and "Developer" editions. Both editions will have a 30 GB HD, 4 format card reader, 1.2 Ghz Via CPU, 512 MB of RAM, WiFi, and ethernet. But the Developer version will have a Touchscreen!
