It's time to catch some rays!

Ever thought about, or should I say dreamed about, taking a nice long vacation to the Bahamas? I sure have! I mean, I'm suffering through 100 degree weather up here in the city. I might as well be able to cool off in the ocean or walk around in swim trunks all day and not be stared at like I'm an idiot. I mean, if I'm going to have to endure heat and humidity, shouldn't there be some fun in the sun to go along with it?

Before you book your flight, you should really gather up some basic travel info for the area.

What's totally cool about the Bahamas is that, while the atmosphere and culture and weather and beauty is different than that of the United States, the time zone is not. At least not for the East Coast. So if you are from New York, Detroit, Philidephia, Atlanta, or Miami - there's zero "jet lag" to deal with. Okay, so a time zone isn't the reason people go on vacation - but what I am saying is it's lik paradise in your own backyard. It's easy to go to and come back from without a lot of work.
