Pets' Pests

We're considering getting a dog this Christmas. I've never actually had a pet before, and I'm 29. I'm kind of worried about taking care of an animal. I've been a camp counselor before, and kids to a certain extent, take care of themselves. And, kids don't tend to get bugs, unless they are around animals. So I'll be looking into things like flea foggers, while we are checking out what kind of dog or cat to get.
