Which state is best?

As I face my upcoming departure from my current locale, I must answer the question as to where I will be residing in the future. I could move down the block, or I could buy a home in Italy, or I could pick up some beautiful beaufort nc real estate. I'm not sure where exactly that I will end up, but the decision has to be made soon. I'm excited either way.
