The State of the Union

President Bush is talking right now. He's said that he wants to cut our dependence on foreign oil. He wants the US to use alternative energy sources (ethinol, hybrids, etc.), and have more effient gasoline engines. He wants us to lower our gasoline consumption by at least 20% in the next ten years.

Mr. Bush also said that the economy is going well. For 41 months, employement has risen. Unemployement is down. Gas prices are down. Spending is up.

Iraq is not over. We must stay the course. We are sending more troops. We must win. We cannot run from our enemies or back down from our promises. We cannot abandon our friends.
