It adds up pretty quick

It is no secret that I blog for PayPerPost. PayPerPost is a company that specializes in consumer generated advertising in blogs. I've been doing this since July of 2006, and I've made quite a bit of cash doing so. In fact, I've earned over $1,600. That's over $200 a month. And really, when I was blogging everyday, it's a lot more than that. With the extra money, I've been able to travel a lot more. I've been able to see my family that's spread out all over the Eastern US, and bought myself a few tech gadgets. And Christmas was extra nice this year.

Some of the tech gadgets I've bought include my "Anti-Pod Nano" (see my whole review here) and my R4DS, which lets ms play home brew games on my Nintendo DS Lite.

The best part is how easy it is. I just pick an advertiser that I want to review, see what they are offering, and give my honest opinion of it. I submit my post, and that's it. It usually takes less than an hour to do two posts. And, as you can see, the money adds up pretty quickly. If I do 2 a day everyday, that's over $300 a month - and could be over $600. The payment varies depending on the ad. Number of words, making a video, adding an image... All these contribute to the amount per post. The minimum is $5 a post, so even at the low end, you are looking at $10 a day. Not bad for something to do in your spare time. It's a chance to be creative and get paid for it. It's a win-win in my book.
